The role

What you'll do

As a Technical Service Technician, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of the automated High Bay warehouse within our Distribution Center. You will work closely with the Technical Service department, other departments within the DC, and colleagues from other JYSK distribution centers.

Your tasks include:

Performing activities related to the construction, implementation, management, and maintenance of the automated High Bay system;
Ensuring the continuity and availability of the automation installations;
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance;
Resolving malfunctions and structural errors in the automation;
Identifying and implementing improvements and cost optimizations;
Thinking along with and implementing new solutions to optimize processes;
Performing ad-hoc activities if necessary.

In addition, you always work according to the applicable Health & Safety and fire safety procedures and actively contribute to a safe working environment.

As a Technical Service Technician, you are motivated to keep learning and grow with our organization. With your technical knowledge and practical attitude, you actively contribute to improvement and continuity. Furthermore, we request:

A technical education or relevant work experience in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar;
Experience with or a strong interest in automated warehouse systems (preferably High Bay);
Knowledge of maintenance processes (preventive and corrective);
Analytical ability and a solution-oriented attitude;
An eye for cost control and process optimization;
Awareness of safety and the correct application of PPE;
A proactive, independent, and flexible working attitude;
Good collaboration skills and team spirit;
Willingness to engage in local travel and consultation activities;
No fear of heights;
You act according to the JYSK Values and always lead by example.
