The role

What you'll do

Acquire new large corporate customers and guide them through their start with Jumbo Zakelijk.
Build long-term relationships with existing customers within your portfolio.
Spot commercial opportunities based on customer needs and convert these into concrete actions.
Help customers with tactical issues and advise customers on suitable solutions in the areas of food, drink, and non-food.
Further expand your network within your industries.
Translate customer wishes into opportunities and improvements for the internal organization.
Keep your sales funnel up to date and ensure good follow-up of prospects.
Work closely with Account Support, Sales, and other colleagues to make a positive impact on customers.

Who are you?

Minimum HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level and at least 2 years of work experience in a similar commercial role, ideally within foodservice;
Excellent storytelling skills to engage and retain your prospective and existing customers;
A healthy dose of persuasiveness, with a human touch. Good advisory skills with which you help your customers onto the right path;
A healthy dose of enthusiasm and result-orientation to achieve successes.
A gross salary between €4,500 - €5,800 per month (based on 40 hours).
An annual bonus of max 5% of your annual salary based on organizational objectives.
30 vacation days (with the possibility to buy or sell vacation days) and 8% holiday allowance. You build up a pension through participation in the Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor het Levensmiddelenbedrijf (Industry Pension Fund for the Food Industry).
