🌍 Futurewhiz is a B Corp
Every year, over 650,000 high school students use StudyGo to study for tests and exams. Many of them start with a free account. The challenge? Ensuring that more users discover how valuable StudyGo is, start a trial, and also keep coming back after those first few weeks.
We are looking for a Growth Marketeer who understands how to translate user behavior into experiments. Someone who is continuously looking for ways to make the customer journey smarter. From the first website visitor to an active, paying user.
You will work at the intersection of marketing, product, data, and design. Together, we ensure that more and more students learn successfully with StudyGo.
You are responsible for one of StudyGo's most important growth challenges: how do we ensure that more free users become paying customers and stay that way?
That means you are continuously looking for improvements in the customer journey. You analyze behavior, discover where users drop off, and translate insights into experiments.
In doing this, you work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Customer Support. Some experiments are contained within a landing page or email flow, while others are right in the middle of the product.
Performance channels such as Google Ads and Meta are part of your work; you will be supported by agencies in this. Knowledge and hands-on experience with these channels is a plus.
For more than 15 years, Futurewhiz has been the market leader in EdTech in the Netherlands. With brands like Squla and StudyGo, we help children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 to learn and grow in a way that suits them.
With Squla, we help more than half a million primary school students every day to learn through games, quizzes, and interactive exercises that align with Dutch education.
For this role, you will work entirely on StudyGo (formerly WRTS): the largest online learning platform for high school students in the Netherlands. From learning vocabulary and practice tests to group lessons and personal guidance: StudyGo helps students learn smarter and get through their school years with more confidence.
For example, you will deal with questions such as:
Why do only a portion of our free users start a trial?
Which onboarding helps users reach their first success experience faster?
Which A/B test leads to more activation or a higher trial conversion?
How do we prevent new customers from dropping off in the first few weeks?
Which combination of product improvements and marketing yields the most growth?
Increasing activation, trial conversion, and retention.
Setting up, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and experiments.
Optimizing onboarding, user journeys, and conversion moments.
Analyzing user behavior and translating it into new growth hypotheses.
Collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering to realize experiments.
Monitoring growth metrics and continuously improving based on data.
Smart use of AI tools to perform analyses faster and set up experiments.
We are looking for a growth marketer who can think strategically as well as act practically. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:
24 vacation days + 1 ‘spijbeldag’ (free day) + 3 allocated vacation days.
Collective pension and collective health insurance.
An annual learning budget of €600 for your professional development.
Unlimited access to external coaches via Inuka Coaching.
Unlimited access to Goodhabitz for professional and personal growth.
Additionally:
Lifelong access to StudyGo and Squla accounts.
Office next to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena station (with a Swapfiets or public transport business card if you live >7km from the office).
A MacBook to work with.
An option for Payroll Giving to contribute to a charity.
Healthy lunches at the office, unlimited good coffee, fresh fruit, and snacks.
A Culture Crew that organizes fun activities such as outings, pub quizzes, and ski trips.
We are a passionate and diverse team, brought together by a shared mission: helping children grow in their learning process and empowering them with personalized education.
Our culture is open and authentic – we believe you do your best work when you can be yourself. Whether you love book clubs, monthly drinks, movie nights, baking competitions, Mario Kart tournaments, or ski trips, at Futurewhiz you will find a community that feels like home.
Our platforms are for everyone, and that applies to our workplace too.
The strength lies in our different backgrounds, ideas, experiences, and perspectives. This diversity helps us to support all children in their learning process, regardless of who they – or we – are. At Futurewhiz, we embrace each other's differences and create an authentic work environment in which everyone can be themselves. This also makes it easier for others to do so. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive culture, which begins at our office and extends across all our platforms – and everyone is welcome on this journey.
At Futurewhiz, AI is not a standalone project, but part of how we work. We use AI to work faster, discover new possibilities, and support children, parents, teachers, authors, and editors even better.
For this role, being AI-native means more than just using ChatGPT occasionally. It means you know how to collaborate effectively with AI tools, critically check the results, handle sensitive information with care, and take responsibility for the quality of your output.
Do you have questions about AI or about how we use AI during the application process? Feel free to send us a message via recruitment@futurewhiz.com.
We would love to invite you to apply, even if you do not meet all the requirements but are enthusiastic.
Tip: above all, be yourself. We embrace the diversity of all our colleagues and are genuinely curious about your unique perspective.
Visa sponsorship is not applicable for this role. Only candidates with a valid work permit for the Netherlands/EU are eligible for this position.
Upload your cover letter and CV via the application button. We will then contact you as soon as possible.
