Junior Support Engineer (all genders) in the Netherlands

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in the field of Industrial Automation or Technical Business Administration;

Employment conditions

• Salary between €3,900 and €5,250 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and suitability for the role;
• A work week of 32 to 38 hours, 5% year-end bonus, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme;
• A train pass and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way);
• 200 hours of leave per year, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 extra hours;
• A laptop and phone;;

At FrieslandCampina in Veghel, about 500 employees share the passion to get the most out of milk. Milk is full of nutrients and active substances that can be used as ingredients for existing products. Through a fully automated process, we extract fats, sugars, and proteins from the raw milk and cheese whey that arrives here daily. These nutritious and functional ingredients are then used again in, for example, sports and baby food, paracetamol, tompouces, milkshakes, and oral hygiene products. We do not do this without success, because one in seven people worldwide now comes into contact with products containing ingredients from our factory in Veghel every day! The Veghel production site celebrates its 95th anniversary this year and is the largest production site of FrieslandCampina. The products from the factory in Veghel currently reach 1 in 7 people worldwide. For this, a very large number of automation systems are installed. Therefore, an OT Team has been established to ensure that this continues to work now and in the future. The Veghel OT Team currently consists of a manager and 5 direct colleagues who mainly focus on ongoing projects and the standards that must be monitored; additionally, faults are resolved, and corrections and modifications are carried out. Your workplace is with your colleagues from Technical Services, among the installations, which means you are quickly at the place where action is needed.
