The role

Do you want to play a crucial role in strengthening the bond between our farmer members and our company? The external market is changing rapidly, and therefore a committed, proactive approach toward our members is of essential importance. As Field Account Manager, you are the key figure who supports, informs, and advises our members. The field service, part of the Cooperative Affairs department, forms the essential connection between FrieslandCampina and its dairy farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany. Our department plays a vital role in various aspects of the cooperative, including the transport of milk and derivative products between our production locations, ensuring milk quality, and promoting contact between our member dairy farmers.

As Field Account Manager, you are responsible for informing and advising our member dairy farmers on various topics, such as milk production, technical issues, and business-related matters. Your goal? To see opportunities for our farmers to resolve matters in a commercial manner and to ensure that the member farmers remain satisfied to supply milk to FrieslandCampina. Furthermore, it is your task to nurture and strengthen the relationship of trust with our member dairy farmers, in line with the strategy of FrieslandCampina. You do this in individual conversations by telephone, at farmers' kitchen tables, or with groups in living room meetings. We are looking for a new colleague in the province of Noord-Holland.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for member engagement and retention in their region.
  • See opportunities for member dairy farmers and realize/offer them.
  • Organizing and facilitating events, group sessions (such as living room meetings), and member farmer visits.
  • Responsible (together with the front office account manager) for the implementation of our Focus Planet quality program and our regulations for all member farmers in their region and district.
  • Responsible for support, including with a human touch and decision-making authority, for the member farmers in their region.
  • Independently performing consignment services.

How you'll work

  • Given the nature of the role (for example, daily updated knowledge), we require an availability of 32 hours or more.
  • Available to the member dairy farmers when necessary.
  • Residing in or around Noord-Holland.
