Senior Manager - Technology Strategy & Transformation

We are looking for entrepreneurial senior managers who get energy from realizing impactful changes, possess a strong network within Financial Services, and know how to bridge the gap between strategy, technology, and execution.

As Senior Manager Technology Strategy & Transformation, you play a central role in the further growth of our Insurance practice. You help clients shape and realize complex transformation programs and act as a strategic sparring partner for executives, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior stakeholders.

You combine strategy, technology, and the decisiveness to actually realize change. You guide organizations through issues surrounding digital transformation, platform modernization, operating model change, data and AI adoption, and large-scale implementations. In doing so, you not only monitor the progress and results of programs but also help clients steer their technological future.

In addition to your role within client assignments, you actively contribute to the further development of our Insurance practice. You build sustainable client relationships, develop new propositions, identify growth opportunities in the market, and support winning new assignments.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager who can make a difference in technology-driven transformations within the financial sector.

You:

• Are a trusted sparring partner for senior stakeholders such as CIOs, CTOs, program directors, and executive teams;

• Build sustainable client relationships and know how to translate these into new assignments and growth opportunities;

• Lead complex transformation programs and manage multidisciplinary teams;

• Identify market developments and translate these into new propositions and services;

• Actively contribute to business development, sales processes, proposals, and pitches;

• Coach and develop consultants, managers, and future leaders within the team;

• Contribute to the further growth of our Insurance practice;

• Work flexibly from client locations, EY offices, or home, and feel at home in a dynamic environment where technology and customer expectations are constantly changing.

Additionally:

• Have a master's degree with a strong affinity for IT and business, for example Business Information Management, Business & Innovation, Analytics, or a similar education;

• Have at least 9 years of relevant experience within consultancy, financial services, or a similar environment;

• Have demonstrable experience with complex technology, implementation, and transformation programs;

• Have experience with stakeholder management at senior management and executive levels;

• Possess strong commercial insight and have experience with business development, propositions, and sales processes;

• Preferably have experience within the insurance sector or a strong network within Financial Services;

• Preferably have certifications such as SAFe, TOGAF, or ITIL;

• Master the Dutch language at a minimum of B2 level and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Flexibility and agility: you can work from client locations, EY offices, or home.
