When selecting the Teamlead Chemistry Laboratory, we pay attention to the following points:

• Completed MBO or HBO education in a laboratory field, preferably in the direction of (analytical) chemistry.
• At least several years of work experience in a GxP environment, preferably a pharmaceutical laboratory.
• Affinity with techniques we perform in the lab such as; (wet) chemical techniques and instrumental analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC/FID, GC/MS, FTIR, AAS, and UV/VIS.
• Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.

• Experience working according to pharmacopoeia and/or inspecting pharmaceutical raw materials is a plus.
• Experience in a leadership or coordinating role is a plus.

As Teamlead Chemistry Laboratory, you will be responsible, together with several other team leaders, for the daily management of the Raw Material Testing laboratory. As Teamlead, you will have a diverse role and will be involved in, among other things, leadership, planning, troubleshooting, and customer contact. Do you have an (analytical) chemical background and at least several years of experience in a comparable lab? Then we are looking for you. 

As Teamlead Chemistry Laboratory, you are responsible for:

• The daily management of a team of Analysts.
• The planning of analyses and monitoring their progress, in such a way that agreed deadlines are met.
• Contact with customers regarding analyses and planning.
• Troubleshooting during bottlenecks in analyses.
• Overseeing quality and safety in the analytical laboratory.
• Ensuring adequate training of the QC employees.
• Guiding investigations into complaints, deviations, reporting, and the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Selection and hiring of QC personnel in consultation with the QC Manager.
• Conducting personnel interviews.
