The role
Eurofins Agro investigates soil, roughage, crops, manure and compost for farmers and growers in the Netherlands and the rest of the world. With a complete package of sampling, analyses and advice, we help agricultural entrepreneurs to produce food of optimal quality in a sustainable manner. To do this, we use innovative techniques and continue to innovate constantly. Eurofins Agro has a main office in Wageningen and branch offices in 11 countries. More than 700,000 samples are analyzed on an annual basis. Eurofins Agro Netherlands employs approximately 370 employees.
What you'll do
- Advising and supporting managers on various HR issues;
- Guiding cases regarding absenteeism, performance, development, and employment relations;
- Identifying personnel developments and responding to them proactively;
- Drafting and implementing HR plans in collaboration with managers;
- Contributing to a professional HR environment in which managers increasingly take ownership;
- Monitoring the correct application of laws and regulations, employment conditions, and HR processes;
- Initiating and guiding improvements within HR processes and policy.

Who are you?
You are a strong conversational partner who switches easily between employees, managers, and management. You know how to build trust, dare to ask critical questions, and combine a people-oriented approach with a healthy dose of pragmatism.
In addition, you bring:
- HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking, preferably in the direction of HRM;
- At least 2 years of experience as an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, or similar HR function;
- Broad knowledge of the HRM field;
- Experience with absenteeism management, leave, performance, employment law issues, and organizational development;
- Good communication and advisory skills;
- An independent, proactive, and methodical way of working;
- The ability to maintain an overview and set priorities;
- Availability of 24 to 32 hours per week.

About the company & team
You will join a committed and independent HR team consisting of three HR professionals and an HR Manager. The team works closely together and maintains short lines of communication within the organization.
As an HR Advisor, you are the sparring partner for managers within Operations, including production and laboratory departments. You are visibly present on the work floor, identify what is happening, and translate HR issues into concrete solutions and actions.
You advise managers on various topics such as absenteeism, performance, employment conditions, organizational developments, and sustainable employability. In doing so, you help them to increasingly take ownership of HR-related issues within their teams. With your methodical approach, you map out needs and risks in a timely manner and ensure that agreements made are secured.
In this position, you will receive plenty of room for your own initiative and will actively contribute to the further professionalization of HR within the organization.
