Commercial Fast Track

Then read on quickly about our Commercial Fast Track, in which we are going to train you from junior to a fully qualified Account Manager! 

As a junior and upcoming fully qualified Account Manager, you will contribute to strengthening our market leadership by actively seeking opportunities for Eurofins and taking charge of actually realizing new business; think of expanding services, analyzing current customer (segments), cross-selling, deepening customer relationships, and starting and implementing innovations. 

The trajectory to becoming a fully qualified account manager consists of: 

• Managing a portfolio of your own small customers, whom you serve as a sales manager; 

• Learning from senior account managers: working together on Eurofins' largest customers; 

• Working on your (own) business development projects, in collaboration with Business Development Manager, Analytical Service Managers, R&D team & Marketing Manager; 

• Following training courses, such as: communication & behavior, (key) account management, negotiation, Project management, etc. 

• Coaching from various senior leaders within the organization. 

Tasks and responsibilities that go along with this are, of course, maintaining and expanding existing and new customer relationships. Additionally, you will develop a vision of the market through desk research (legislation, market demand, trends and developments, competitor analysis). You will translate this vision into business plans supported by a feasibility study and advice to management. Furthermore, we love to create new (unconventional) propositions. Specifically, there are several immediate opportunities and projects: 

• Increasing the sale of specialties (including Eurofins Omegam) in the NL environmental market; 

• Developing a more data-driven Sales approach per segment / product; 

• Innovation: Exploring and transforming data-driven products and services. 

Location: the various locations of Eurofins Environment Testing Benelux, primarily Amsterdam and Amersfoort. Hybrid working is among the possibilities.  

For our Commercial Fast Track, we are looking for HBO or WO graduates (max 2 years of work experience), for example in the direction of Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Technical Business Administration. However, if you studied in a different field and have demonstrable affinity with laboratories and a commercial B2B environment, you are very welcome to apply.
