Requirements
What we're looking for
- ATPL(H), current type rating or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 3,000+ total flight hours, meaningful twin-engine and deck-landing experience
- Class 1 medical, fluent English
- Based in Europe; flexible to reposition between the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons
Nice to have
- Prior VIP, yacht-based, or comparable high-standards operational background strongly preferred
The role
A private Family Office is seeking an experienced VIP Helicopter Captain for a yacht-based operation aboard a superyacht, operating on a dual-season basis between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. This is a newly established operation offering the opportunity to help shape it from the ground up.
The Role
What you'll do
- Single-pilot and multi-crew VIP/VVIP flying for the owner, family, and guests (Airbus H135)
- Deck landings (day and night) on the yacht's helipad, plus operations at private and public locations across both cruising regions
- Close coordination with the yacht's captain, crew and shore-side operations team
- Full responsibility for flight safety, operational standards and passenger experience at the highest level of discretion
How you'll work
Roster
3 weeks on / 3 weeks off, though in practice flexible around operational need - off time coordinated directly with the operating captain team rather than a rigid fixed pattern.
