• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, hair, beauty, or technology

• Affinity with hair care, with basic hair styling skills or a strong interest in learning them

• Confident and approachable, and builds rapport quickly

• Feels comfortable demonstrating hair care technology, including live styling

• Enthusiastic about Dyson's mission and delivering exceptional service

• Energetic and proactive; willing to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays

As a Dyson Stylist, you are the go-to expert for our hair care technology and inspire customers with personal demonstrations and advice. You let visitors discover the benefits of Dyson hair care solutions—and our full product range—by making connections and offering exceptional experiences. Your passion for beauty, hair, and technology makes you a true brand ambassador on the shop floor.

Demonstrations & customer experience

Welcome every customer and ensure they feel comfortable in the store

• Give live, practical demonstrations of Dyson hair care products (including styling different hair types)

• Offer personalized advice and expert tips on hair health and styling, and link products to the unique needs of each customer

• Guide customers through the entire Dyson journey, from the first question to the purchase

Sales & performance

• Achieve personal and store targets through confident, needs-based selling

• Actively pursue up-selling and cross-selling within the hair care category and the full Dyson range

• Convert demonstrations into sales by building trust and generating enthusiasm around Dyson technology

Brand standards & store experience

• Ensure the demonstration area is clean, hygienic, and presented according to Dyson's brand standards

• Maintain and prepare hair care tools and demonstration equipment to the highest level

• Support store operations with merchandising, replenishment, and maintenance of displays

Teamwork & personal development

• Work together with other Stylists and Experts to achieve team goals and create a smooth customer experience

• Actively participate in briefings, training, and product instructions—and stay up to date with new products and innovations

• Be open to feedback and share it as well, and always strive to improve your knowledge, skills, and customer approach

How success is measured

• Achieving sales, add-on, and conversion targets, especially in hair care

• Customer feedback, NPS, and Mystery Shopper scores on demonstrations and advice

• Hygiene, safety, and appearance of demonstration areas and equipment

• Participation in training and continuous development
