Apprentice Formwork Carpenter

Do you want to be involved in civil concrete construction projects and do you want to learn the trade from an experienced formwork carpenter? As an apprentice formwork carpenter, you will learn all the tricks of the trade and get the chance to work on the most beautiful projects!

This will be your job
A formwork carpenter plays an important role in realizing projects. You are responsible for making and placing formwork and pouring concrete structures. It is the task of a formwork carpenter to make and place the structures according to safety regulations, so that they meet the specifications and design drawings. To do this well, you need experience in, among other things, reading drawings, applying measurements, and using tools and machines.

We understand that as an apprentice formwork carpenter, you won't know and be able to do everything from the start. Therefore, you will be paired with an experienced formwork carpenter who will teach you all the tricks of the trade. You will also follow training one day per week to learn the theory, which you will then apply in practice.

Have you already gained experience as a formwork carpenter or do you want to start a new career? We are open to any work experience; with the right commitment and ambitions, you can start working with us! Furthermore:

• You want to gain experience in practice.

• You know how to get stuck in and you take things proactively.

• You possess a VCA certificate, or you are willing to obtain one.

• You possess your own transport. Our project locations are difficult to reach by public transport.

• You enjoy learning new things and have the ambition to develop into a formwork carpenter!

This is what we offer you

You will follow the training through one of our vocational training providers. You will enter into employment with the vocational training provider, and through them, you will work for Dura Vermeer. You will work four days a week and go to school one day a week. After completing the training, there is the possibility to enter into employment with Dura Vermeer!
