Senior PPC Specialist

The purpose of this role is to assist with the planning, reviewing and optimisation of Paid Search campaigns whilst supporting the team in reporting and managing client accounts.

For this role, we are looking for someone who speaks fluent Dutch. The dentsu PPC team is looking for a new Senior PPC Specialist. We work for (inter)national clients such as KLM, Albert Heijn, Intergamma, and Fastned. Our goal: to achieve the best results by combining strong PPC strategies with smart data utilization and continuous innovation.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the PPC profession who is ready for complex client challenges, pitches, and co-shaping the knowledge development within the team. Someone who understands that the search landscape is changing: search queries are becoming longer and more contextual, informational searches are increasingly leading directly to purchases, and feed quality determines a brand's visibility more than ever. Increasingly, we also work cross-channel, with SEO, social search, and search-first video as an integral part of the approach.

Your primary goal is to improve the performance and visibility of your clients and to lead large accounts. As a Senior PPC Specialist, you manage a client team, determine the strategy, delegate tasks, and monitor deadlines. You have experience in all aspects of PPC and a good eye for where automation and smart bidding strategies deliver more than manual optimization.

You closely follow the developments of platform partners such as Google and Microsoft, but you remain critical: you assess new features like AI Max based on what they actually deliver for the client and not just because they are new. Additionally, you guide junior and medior specialists by sharing knowledge and case studies, and you contribute to the innovation of our products and services.

· Developing PPC strategies for multiple markets, with attention to feed quality and data activation

· Determining objectives and KPIs, and assessing where automated bidding strategies deserve preference over manual control

· Leading accounts with multiple specialists

· Identifying client needs and optimization opportunities, including improvements in feed structure and product data

· Shaping cross-channel strategies together with other disciplines, for example in the field of social search and search-first video

· Critically assessing new features from platform partners on what they contribute to your clients' performance

· Automating what is repetitive, so that you can focus on innovation, strategy, and creativity

· Contributing to pitches and proposals

· Preparing and delivering client presentations

· Guiding junior and medior specialists

· Leading innovation projects around AI-driven features

· Sharing knowledge about changes in the search landscape, internally and externally

· You have a passion for PPC

· You are proactive and take responsibility

· You are analytically strong and enjoy solving problems

· You are persuasive and can articulate ideas well

· You have a critical eye on new features from platform partners

· You communicate skillfully in Dutch and English

· You are a strong project manager with good time management skills

· You are curious, eager to learn, and ambitious

· You have successfully completed a HBO or WO degree

· You have 3+ years of relevant work experience

· You have hands-on experience with product feeds (Channable, Merchant Center)

· You have experience with feed-driven campaigns via tools like Channable to remain scalable and up-to-date
