We are looking for a Bachelor student for Full Stack development, focused on application improvements and UX/UI design. You will work on DAF's claiming platform. Through this platform, dealers submit claims for truck repairs, for example under warranty or under repair & maintenance contracts. Your work therefore has a direct effect on the users of our systems. As a Full Stack developer intern, you are responsible for front-end and back-end improvements on the Dealer Claim Entry (DCE) and Claim Assessment Tool (CAT) systems. Additionally, you will research how predefined UX/UI improvement requirements can best be implemented in these systems. That is a challenging puzzle, because "It is not necessarily a very new system, it is quite an old thing. So there are quite a few techniques that you can apply well to build into it."
You are not alone. You will work intensively with a senior developer from DAF, who will involve you in the daily development work and share much of his knowledge with you. "It is a senior developer, so it is not as if the intern will be thrown into the deep end later on."
