Hobby cook

For Avy, we are looking for a Hobby cook to join our team.

At Avy, we make drones that save lives - the police, fire department, and coast guard fly with our drones every day. To provide our international team (16 nationalities!) with a good lunch every day, we are looking for a Hobby cook for 1 day per week (Thursday), 4 hours per day, from 10:00 to 14:00. Start is from October 1st.

You will prepare a warm, vegetarian lunch for about 40 colleagues. You decide what is on the menu - as long as it is vegetarian and you take allergies into account, such as gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. You simply order the groceries, and they will be delivered to us. We have a spacious kitchen with sufficient facilities, although it is not an official catering kitchen.

Our office is located a 10-minute walk from Sloterdijk station, and parking at the door is free. The compensation is in line with what our current cooks receive.

You enjoy cooking for a large group and draw energy from providing people with a delicious, well-prepared lunch every single day. You are independent and can easily switch between flavors, seasons, and dietary requirements - vegetarian cooking is a challenge for you, not a limitation, and you know how to effortlessly take allergies into account.

You are flexible and like to think along, for example if the schedule needs to shift occasionally. Just as importantly: you take pleasure in interacting with a diverse, international team. You do not have to speak English, but it makes the contact in the kitchen - where colleagues like to pop in for a chat - just a little bit more enjoyable.
