For our Restaurant Supervisor, we are looking for someone who gets energy from hospitality, teamwork, and creating a great experience for our guests.

You maintain an overview, dare to take responsibility, and know how to convey your enthusiasm to the team.

You have experience within hospitality, catering, or F&B, preferably in a restaurant or hotel environment;
Preferably, you already have experience leading or guiding a team;
You are guest-oriented, enthusiastic, and know how to get things done;
You are a true team player, but also dare to make decisions independently;
You maintain an overview during busy moments and know how to set the right priorities;
You enjoy coaching, motivating, and developing colleagues;
You communicate easily with both guests and colleagues;
You have sufficient command of the Dutch and/or English language to communicate well with our international team and our guests;
You are flexibly deployable for morning, evening, and weekend shifts;
And perhaps most importantly: you bring energy, hospitality, and fun to the workplace.

The role

Become part of the Corendon Family as our new Restaurant Supervisor!

We are looking for you as our new Restaurant Supervisor in Corendon Amsterdam New-West, where you will be working within our popular Mondi Caribbean Restaurant. This modern and energetic hotel is located in a lively neighborhood of Amsterdam and is known for its warm atmosphere, international guests, and the colorful character of Mondi.

Corendon Amsterdam New-West is a place where comfort, hospitality and culinary experience come together. Within Mondi, we take our guests on a Caribbean experience in which taste, atmosphere and personal service are central.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you play an important role in this experience. You work actively on the floor, lead the team, and ensure that every service runs smoothly. You are visible to both our guests and your colleagues, and like no other, you know how to convey enthusiasm and hospitality.

What you'll do

As Restaurant Supervisor, you are responsible, together with the restaurant management, for the smooth running of the daily operations. You work actively during service while simultaneously maintaining an overview of the floor.

You coach and motivate colleagues, distribute tasks, and ensure that everyone knows what is expected of them. Meanwhile, you never lose sight of our guests. You see where extra attention is needed and, together with the team, you ensure a welcoming and professional service.

✔️ Actively working during breakfast, lunch, and dinner
✔️ Leading, guiding, and motivating the restaurant team during daily operations
✔️ Coordinating activities and ensuring a clear division of tasks
✔️ Ensuring a welcoming, personal, and professional service
✔️ Welcoming guests and ensuring they feel immediately at home
✔️ Overseeing the quality and presentation of our service
✔️ Coaching and supporting colleagues in their daily tasks
✔️ Identifying and resolving operational challenges during service
✔️ Dealing professionally with questions, feedback, and any guest complaints
✔️ Overseeing compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards
✔️ Assisting with the onboarding and training of new colleagues
✔️ Collaborating with the kitchen and other hotel departments for an optimal guest experience
✔️ Acting as the point of contact on the floor when restaurant management is not present
✔️ Contributing to a positive working atmosphere in which collaboration, development, and fun are central

As Restaurant Supervisor, you are not someone who only directs from the sidelines. You are in the middle of the team and in the middle of the operation.
