At Cencora, we work every day toward a healthier future. To further optimize our transport operation, we are looking for an experienced Transport Planner Level 2. In this role, you will combine daily transport planning with improving processes, guiding projects, and increasing operational performance.

As a Transport Planner Level 2, you are responsible for an efficient and high-quality execution of our transport planning. You ensure that drivers, vehicles, and external transport partners are deployed optimally and you intervene proactively when deviations occur. Additionally, you play an important role in realizing improvements within our transport processes.

Your duties include

• Drafting, managing, and optimizing the daily transport planning for approximately 35 vehicles.
• Coordinating drivers, vehicles, and external charter partners to ensure efficient and reliable service.
• Purchasing additional transport capacity at market-conform rates.
• Monitoring ongoing transports and acting adequately in the event of disruptions, capacity problems, or urgent deliveries.
• Directing, supporting, and guiding drivers during their activities. In the absence of the Assistant Supervisor Transport, you will take over the daily management of the driver group.
• Monitoring compliance with GDP guidelines, transport documentation, permits, and driving and rest time legislation.
• Coordinating maintenance schedules for the fleet and advising on replacement and optimization.
• Initiating, guiding, and implementing transport and process improvement projects.
• Analyzing operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating these into concrete actions and structural solutions.
