Senior Data Management Consultant

• You have relevant experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer. We invite you to apply if you have built up similar expertise through other paths or roles
• You have a completed bachelor's or master's degree
• You have extensive knowledge and experience with one or more of the following languages: Python, SQL, Java, SAS, or MS SQL
• You have experience setting up data pipelines
• You have experience working with DevOps within CI/CD
• You have experience with data quality, data profiling, dimensional modeling, and metadata; You can implement prescribed data architectures
• You have experience with data warehouse solutions
• You have a proactive attitude and enjoy bringing others along with the latest developments and best practices within the domain of data technologies
• You recognize yourself in the following competencies such as analytical, result-oriented, and methodical working
• You have a good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing (C1 level).

Become the best version of yourself as a Senior Data Management Consultant

As a Senior Data Management Consultant, you play a crucial role in professionalizing Data Governance for our clients. You advise organizations on the design and implementation of governance frameworks and ensure that responsibilities regarding data are clearly assigned.

You work closely with stakeholders from both business and IT and help define roles such as Data Owner and Data Steward. You develop and implement policies, standards, and processes for, among other things, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data classification.

Additionally, you help organizations set up and improve business glossaries and data catalogs and advise on the deployment of Data Governance tooling, such as Microsoft Purview and Collibra. You know how to translate complex governance issues into concrete and workable solutions and create support within different layers of the organization.

In doing so, you ensure that Data Governance does not only exist on paper, but actually becomes part of the daily way of working.
