The role
Are you a creative brand builder who gets energized by developing new ideas and growing brands with real impact? Then this is your chance.
For Duvel Moortgat Netherlands, we are looking for a creative and entrepreneurial Brand Manager Beyond Beer, who will make the launch of the new Hard Drinks brand Kletzer a success in the Netherlands, and further roll out JARR craft soda and Vedett Energy Pils locally.
What you'll do
On one hand, you will work on building a completely new brand (Kletzer), and on the other, you will translate international plans (JARR and Vedett Energy Pils) to the Dutch market. For both brands, you will build brand awareness among Gen Z and young millennials with a focus on influencer/community marketing, social-first campaigns, events, and activations. You won't be building these brands from the sidelines; you will be right in the middle of the target audience, understanding their world, and therefore knowing better than anyone what moves, surprises, and engages them.
What will you do?
- Development and execution of brand plans: online activations, influencer marketing, collabs
- Conceiving and rolling out creative concepts
- Ensuring an active and engaged community and bringing community feedback and ideas to life
- Development of relevant widely-distributed social content (earned, owned, paid)
- Integrating activations with the various channels
- Local translation and implementation of marketing plans for JARR
- Coordinating campaigns with internal teams and external partners
- Being present at events and in the field to experience the impact of our brands and gain new insights
- Identifying relevant cultural developments, social trends, and consumer insights and translating these into distinctive brand and campaign ideas.
- Continuously learning from target audience behavior, campaign results, and community feedback to make activations increasingly relevant and effective.
What makes this role unique? You build a brand from scratch in a competitive, fast-growing category. You work with a clear focus on Gen Z and trends such as influencer marketing and events.
What is in your vat?
You are an energetic creative marketer
- You have approximately 5 years of experience in brand marketing (FMCG/hospitality/lifestyle is a plus)
- You are creative, entrepreneurial, and hands-on
- Switching gears quickly, flexibility, and short lead times are what you excel at
- You know how to make a brand relevant to a young target audience
- You have proven experience with:
- Online media
- Influencer marketing
- Events and activations
- You dare to test new ideas and think outside the box
- You enjoy being present yourself in the places where your brand comes to life
- You feel at home within the world of social media, influencer marketing, events, hospitality, and nightlife and understand the role our brands play in them.
