Ophthalmologist Refractive

You are a proactive, driven, and entrepreneurial team player with good communication skills and an eye for the client. You completed your specialization as an ophthalmologist several years ago and have extensive experience with cataract surgery. Experience with refractive surgery in the field of laser treatments is a plus. You are available for 18-40 hours per week.

We are looking for an ophthalmologist specialized in refractive surgery or someone with extensive experience in cataract surgery who would like to grow into refractive surgery. A combination with insured eye care is also possible.

As an ophthalmologist at Memira, you are the pivot in advising and treating our clients. With six intake clinics spread across the country and independent optometrists providing daily intakes, you do not need to be present for consultation hours every day. Your work week offers a beautiful balance between holding consultation hours and performing treatments.

Our clients, ranging in age from 18 to 60 years, are vital, healthy, and have high expectations of both the process and the outcomes. Delivering top-quality service is therefore essential. At Memira, you work with the latest technologies and advanced equipment, allowing you to offer a wide range of refractive treatments, including various laser treatments, ICL, Artiplus, and RLE in combination with the Catalys.

Following our merger with Memira in Scandinavia, we have grown into the largest specialized provider of ophthalmic care in the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The Memira team consists of hostesses, consultants, refractionists, optometrists, a professional OR/treatment team, logistics staff, and ophthalmologists. In the Netherlands, we have six outpatient clinics, where your main locations will be Hilversum & Amsterdam. We ask for some flexibility regarding the clinics in Den Bosch, Rijswijk, and Venray. Our OR complex is located in Hilversum.
