The role

You can focus on what you truly find important and thus make a difference. BDO Tax is the place where, within the indirect tax team, you will work in a dynamic and engaging VAT practice. Together with your colleagues, you will tackle complex VAT issues and advise various clients. From SMEs and family businesses to international companies as well as many (semi-)public institutions such as healthcare institutions and municipalities.

Furthermore, you will apply your experience and eagerness to learn to become the best in your field. You will work proactively with tax advisory and, under supervision, have direct contact with the client. You will have consultations and written communication with the Tax Authorities. You will provide support with notices of objection and appeals in the field of VAT and contribute ideas regarding innovations in the field of Tax Technology. Additionally, you will work together with the audit teams and the compilation practice in the assessment of tax positions and participate in the weekly technical consultation with your VAT colleagues.
