Security Engineer

This position falls in scale 8, with a gross monthly salary between € 4,002.14 and € 5,336.18 (based on 36 hours per week). Furthermore, we offer:

As a Security Engineer at ASN Bank in Den Bosch, you are responsible for protecting the bank against cyber threats AND you actively contribute to building a stronger, smarter, and more secure digital landscape.

As a Security Engineer at ASN Bank, you are a key figure within our Cyber Defense Center. You combine technical depth with a sharp eye for threats and translate this into concrete solutions that strengthen the bank's resilience.

Your responsibilities

• You design and implement security monitoring and detection solutions, including SIEM and SOAR, and ensure that our detection capabilities are continuously improved.
• You analyze complex security incidents at Tier 2/3 level and coordinate the handling, ensuring a fast and effective response.
• You translate current threat intelligence into concrete detection and prevention measures that contribute directly to the security of our environment.
• You contribute to the further development of our cloud security within AWS and Azure, in close cooperation with internal DevOps teams.
• You safeguard knowledge about threats and solutions and actively share lessons learned within the team, so that we continue to grow together.
