The role

What you'll do

Operating various injection molding machines in the department
(Assisting with) dismantling/assembling molds
Programming machines
Setting up and changing over machines and molds. This also includes adding parts to machines and molds, such as slides and temperature control units
Testing machines. Releasing machines for production
Administrative processing of raw material consumption
Deciding on the acceptance or rejection of produced parts
Supplying raw materials and removing products
Supervising the production process, performing quality controls
Performing (simple) technical repairs to machines and molds
Timely reporting of shortages of parts, materials, and raw materials, and complex malfunctions to the supervisor
Cleaning equipment, machines, and the environment
Producing Plastic and Zamak parts according to certified procedures

The Role

Your goal is to ensure the correct setup of injection molding machines and the production of Plastic and Zamak parts according to certified procedures within established tolerances and according to the agreed quality and quantity.

Competencies

Knows how to independently schedule production correctly across different machines
Is accurate in preparation and determines which machines must be changed over first, which molds must be cleaned, and by whom
Feels responsibility for quality when lubricating machines and signing off lists
Is stress-resistant during the production of Plastic and Zamak parts
