The role
What does your workday look like?
The ABN AMRO MeesPierson Investment Centre is there for clients who prefer to outsource their investments to the country's largest asset manager. Our department executes the transactions that follow from our investment policy. Additionally, we support our advisors by advising the client.
- Will you help with creating client messages and developing reports;
- Will you become part of the asset management expertise center where questions from our advisors from across the country come in;
- Will you support the Investment Centre to make asset management even more efficient and future-proof within various improvement teams;
- Will you also perform a number of interesting tasks in the field of communication with clients and colleagues.
Who are you?
Are you curious enough to investigate, experiment, and learn what is best for the client? Can you work independently and proactively? Are you also not afraid to share your opinion and ideas with others and can you communicate easily? Do you finally have excellent analytical skills and can you work well under time pressure? Then we are looking for you!
- Are you proficient with MS Excel and do you pick up new software quickly;
- Do you have some affinity with financial markets and investment concepts;
- Are you quantitatively strong and do you know how to communicate concisely and clearly in both Dutch and English;
- Do you possess at least an HBO/WO education level;
- Having knowledge of laws and regulations, procedures regarding risk management and compliance, including monitoring and control, is a plus;
- You are looking for an internship for at least 20 weeks starting from February 2027;
- You are available to work at least 4 days per week.
What we offer
We offer you a great internship. The Onboarding Program ensures that you, as a new intern,
quickly feel part of the team. There is plenty of room to learn and grow. In both environments, you can gain a wealth of experience. Naturally, under excellent guidance from your internship supervisor and close colleagues.
During your internship, it is not only about gaining substantive knowledge and practical experience, but you also work actively on your professional development and expanding your network. CASt, the Club ABN AMRO Interns, organizes both substantive and social (online) events. Additionally, CASt organizes monthly Go & See's to get acquainted with different departments within ABN AMRO, so you get to know the bank even better. You also get the opportunity to further develop your hard skills through the ABN AMRO Academy by means of challenging e-learnings. The internship allowance for an mbo, hbo, or wo internship is €750 per month (based on a 36-hour work week).
