What we're looking for

A completed MBO education (preferably as a bicycle mechanic or something similar) or professional experience in the craft sector
Experience with customer service is a plus
You show initiative, love responsibility, and have a solution-oriented way of working
You enjoy the challenge of finding your structured workflow in a sometimes unstructured environment
You are interested in the theme of sustainable mobility and bicycles
You have excellent communication skills
You possess a driver's license
You speak the Dutch and/or English language fluently
Preferably you are available full-time

Yeply is looking for a bicycle technician. We are expanding and are immediately looking for an energetic, hands-on employee to join our bicycle repair team. What you'll do

We are Yeply, the bicycle workshop on wheels where every type of bicycle can come for a service. In this way, as a Finnish start-up, we want to contribute to a healthy, sustainable form of mobility. Our mission is to make bicycle maintenance and repair simple, transparent, and hassle-free. We perform maintenance and repairs on all types of bicycles: from e-bikes to city bikes, from cargo bikes to transport bikes. All two-wheelers without a license plate are our thing. Our technicians ensure that all bicycles are 100% ready to ride again. We help both consumers (in the neighborhood) and business customers (bicycle fleets). So far, we have already maintained more than 100,000 bicycles in Europe and the end is nowhere in sight!

Your tasks

As a bicycle technician, you will help build Yeply in the Netherlands. This includes:

Preventive maintenance of bicycles
Independently performing bicycle repairs in our hyper-modern vans converted into workshops
Performing bicycle repairs for our business customers and bringing the Yeply business concept to their attention. Registering work orders and digital files
Inventory management of spare parts
Working with a diverse team of bicycle technicians
Supporting colleagues regarding technical aspects of bicycle repairs
Ensuring a pleasant, safe working atmosphere for yourself and colleagues
