Fitter St. Laurentius Hospital Roermond

Work at a fixed location and ensure technical installations continue to function

At Kemtec, we work with over 50 enthusiastic colleagues on medium and large utility projects (up to 15 million euros) in Noord-Brabant and Limburg. We specialize in HVAC and GAWALO installations and have realized, among other things, sustainable solutions for the Koning Willem II College in Tilburg.

For our Assembly department, we are looking for an independent and skilled Fitter for a special work location: the St. Laurentius Hospital in Roermond. In this position, you will work primarily at one fixed location. You will know the installations, know what is happening, and together with your colleagues, be responsible for good technical operation and performing work on the installations.

You will be involved in installation, assembly, and repair. In doing so, you will work closely with the lead fitter and project leader, but you will also be given the space to carry out your own activities independently.

Do you enjoy working at a fixed location, do you love technically varied work, and do you want to contribute to a safe and well-functioning hospital environment? Then this is a great position for you.

As a Fitter, you will work at a fixed location at the St. Laurentius Hospital in Roermond. There, you will perform various installation, assembly, and repair activities. You will receive assignments from the lead fitter or project leader and ensure that these are carried out professionally and according to the agreements made.

Because you work at a fixed location, you will get to know the installations well. You will know where you need to be, identify peculiarities, and can switch quickly when activities or malfunctions require it.

Your duties include

• The independent installation and repair of technical installations;

• The checking and testing of your own work;

• The technical preparation and organization of your work on location;

• The identification and reporting of deviations during execution;

• The identification of extra and reduced work and reporting this back to the lead fitter or project leader;

• The requesting or ordering of extra required materials via the warehouse or the work preparer;

• The coordination of activities with the client and other parties involved on location;

• Participation in work meetings and toolbox meetings;

• Supporting colleagues with technical help and instructions;

• Providing data for revision drawings and technical documentation;

• Ensuring a neat, safe, and well-organized workplace.

• A good salary tailored to your knowledge, background, and experience;

• Employment conditions according to the CAO Technical Installation Company, including: 25 days of leave, 13 ADV days, and pension accrual with the PMT pension fund;

• Flexible secondary employment benefits via the Alleo app;

• An end-of-year bonus, based on company results;

• An immediate permanent contract;

• The opportunity to develop yourself. Both within Kemtec, but also more broadly within (the companies of) the VDK Group;

• An informal, convivial working atmosphere with regular fun outings, such as this year's family party in Phantasialand in Brühl and various staff parties.

• MBO-3 work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of installation technology, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical education;

• Relevant work experience within installation technology and/or assembly;

• Technical knowledge of installations and experience with assembly, installation, and repair activities;

• You can understand technical drawings and project information well;

• You work accurately and have an eye for quality and detail;

• You can perform activities independently and know when to consult;

• You are practically minded and think in solutions;

• You pay attention to safety and work according to the applicable regulations;

• You are willing to further develop your professional knowledge.

As a Fitter, you will work at the St. Laurentius Hospital in Roermond. You will become a familiar face on location and get to know the technical installations and the environment well.

Your activities are technically varied. You work on installations, solve technical problems, and ensure that activities are carried out safely and carefully. In doing so, it is important that you are aware of the special environment in which you work: in a hospital, reliability, safety, and care are extra important.

A fixed workplace, plenty of technical variety, and the responsibility to ensure that the installations in an important healthcare environment continue to function well.
