We expect the VC4A Learning [Team Lead] to apply a sales mentality and think strategically about developing the business unit as a sustainable operation and world-class infrastructure and resource for entrepreneurship development. Outstanding business sense, problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills are essential.

• Experience with startup entrepreneurship, online education, and program management;
• Superior leadership skills and previous experience designing, managing, and implementing programs;
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills. Experience managing programs and teams;
• Proven experience developing customer relationships and fostering growth. Superior verbal and written communication abilities (English, French, and Spanish desirable);
• Good knowledge of working in virtual environments, heavy use of online software tools, Microsoft Office and particularly Excel;
• 4-7 Years' experience in an operations role or relevant work history;
• High attention to detail.

For the Startup Academy and Learning Programs at VC4A, the organization is looking for an entrepreneurial professional that will lead the organization's efforts to establish world-class infrastructure for entrepreneurship development.

VC4A has a fast-paced work environment and seeks talented team members who crave learning new skills and are not afraid to tackle big projects. As VC4A Learning [Team Lead] you are responsible for the Startup Academy and Learning Programs. You are leading the organization's efforts to develop the organization's learning infrastructure, resources, and capabilities.

• Further, establish the VC4A Learning as sustainable operation and world-class infrastructure for entrepreneurship development;

• Pursue opportunities and programs that are needed to further develop the Startup Academy and related Learning Programs;

• Design, manage and implement assignments on behalf of VC4A Learning business unit;

• Develop expertise in all aspects of the organization, define the roles and responsibilities on a project basis, own the planning and budgeting, and aggressively manage and report on performance;

• Ensure that all operational processes are tactically structured, efficiently executed, and correctly implemented across the entire organization;

• Provide daily program and people management. Work with the team to assign proper resources to best capitalize on team strengths and overall operating efficiency;

• Work with team members to ensure that clients, both internal and external, are being serviced and managed successfully;

• Cultivate client relationships with key decision-makers, serve as an escalation point on all client issues, and represent the organization externally;

• Enforce established best practices, develop top talent within the VC4A team, and support the learning and training of the team;

• Help identify new talent to scale the team as needed. Coordinate and lead hiring efforts (interviews, career fairs, case competitions, etc.);

• Advise senior management on the implementation strategy.

• Aid in all operational duties as needed.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience with online education and is familiar with blended learning and train-the-trainer programs. As Team Lead, you have experience designing, managing, and implementing programs. You see unlimited opportunities and proactively develop and execute plans with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude. Experience working in emerging markets and speaking English, French and Spanish is desirable.
