Senior Project Engineer (m/f/d) Service Sales

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, material handling, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline.

• Several years of professional experience in technical sales, service sales, key account management, or project engineering, ideally in plant engineering, material handling, or intralogistics.

• Experience in the planning, calculation, and implementation of complex technical solutions as well as in dealing with international customers.

• Strong commercial understanding as well as the ability to translate technical requirements into economically attractive solutions.

• High consulting, presentation, and negotiation competence as well as a confident appearance towards customers at different hierarchical levels.

• Independent and structured way of working paired with a strong customer orientation.

• Willingness to travel within Europe of approx. 10 %.

• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.

• Independent processing of projects from inquiry to quotation in the area of conversions and expansions of existing systems.

• Intensive support of our Key Accounts as well as determination of requirements for expansions, modifications, and retrofits.

• Responsibility for the development of the necessary technical solutions while complying with the specifications provided by the customer.

• Creation of layouts - in cooperation with the Sales Layout Engineers - from material flow diagrams and their translation into detailed price specifications.

• Creation of comprehensive quotations as well as conversion concepts, including managing discussions with sub-suppliers and downstream internal departments regarding the costs to be calculated.

• Responsibility for the handover to the project management team as well as the further support of the project during the engineering phase to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation.
