Travel Agency Internship - Region 25 Zaandam

We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn, and motivated intern to come and strengthen our team at the TUI Travel Agency and create unforgettable travel experiences together with us. As an intern at the TUI Travel Agency, you will get the chance to experience the world of travel and tourism up close. You will work at one of our locations in Purmerend, Zaandam, Castricum, Beverwijk, Amsterdam Utrechtsestraat, or Buikslotermeerplein.

• Advising customers on travel destinations, accommodations, and other travel-related services;
• Drafting travel plans and quotes based on the customer's wishes;
• Processing bookings, changes, and cancellations in our system;
• Achieving commercial objectives together with the team;
• Gaining knowledge about various destinations worldwide, travel trends, and current developments in the travel industry;
• Assisting with promotional activities and events.

• This internship gives you the opportunity to develop commercial and communicative skills, increase your knowledge, and gain practical experience.
• Collaborating with experienced travel advisors in a team that inspires and guides customers daily in putting together their dream holiday.
• You will receive two weeks of training to prepare you for your internship;
• During your internship, you will receive a TUI uniform and a laptop for use;
• You will receive an internship allowance of 500 euros gross per month on a 40-hour basis;
• You will become part of the Internship Community and may participate in the organized activities.

• You are following a relevant MBO Level 3 or 4 education in tourism;
• You have a passion for travel and have basic knowledge of various destinations;
• You have strong communication skills and are customer-friendly;
• You can work well independently, but also function well in a team;
• You are proactive, eager to learn, and flexible;
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language.
