We are looking for a proactive and strong HR Partner / HR Generalist to strengthen our Trane Technologies team in Rotterdam. Within our Dutch HR team - which consists of one HR Specialist, two HR Generalists (including yourself) and the HR Manager - you will provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers across a wide range of HR programs and activities throughout the Netherlands. You will act as a tactical and operational partner that seamlessly connects business objectives with our HR policies.

• You independently advise and guide managers on complex and diverse HR issues and programs.
• You are closely involved in the implementation of programs in the areas of Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Training, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations.
• You translate operational departmental objectives into the correct HR guidelines, procedures, and practices and monitor compliance with these.
• You advise on the correct interpretation, application, and implementation of local and global HR policies.
• You continuously monitor the effectiveness of HR policies and processes, and proactively make proposals for process improvement and optimization.
• You frequently communicate complex, confidential, or sensitive information to both employees and management.
• You act as an influencer and sparring partner in discussions regarding the interpretation or adjustment of HR processes and policy issues.
• You are responsible for the accurate and timely execution of daily HR administration and the full employee lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding) in our systems (including Workday).
• You coordinate payroll-related input and manage absenteeism guidance in accordance with Dutch laws and regulations (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter).
