Manufacturing Cooler Operator

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands

Due to an increase in our activities, we need to strengthen our production team. Around 60 people are employed at Thales Cryogenics B.V. in Eindhoven. We develop, produce, and sell high-quality cryogenic cooling systems worldwide. These are used in civil, military, and space applications to cool high-tech sensors.

About your future job
Our products are assembled in a low-dust room to ensure the quality of our products. Within the production team of 14 operators, you will be responsible for the manufacture of cryogenic coolers. Together with your colleagues, you will achieve weekly goals by using specific assembly knowledge and high-end machines. Because communication lines within production are short, switching is fast and you support each other in the production process.

Tasks include, among others, the assembly and testing of components for coolers based on technical drawings and established assembly and measurement instructions. In addition to assembly, you will work with one or more of our high-tech production methods, including soldering processes, vacuum welding, and operating various measuring equipment.

• What do we ask of you?

• Work experience in a precision mechanics background;

• Proficiency in various assembly skills;

• You are able to read technical drawings;

• Being accustomed to working in manual assembly is a plus;

• MBO 3/4 with a technical background;

• A very accurate and quality-conscious attitude is second nature to you;

• Team player with self-awareness and the ability to express oneself;

• That you see a challenge in your own development;

• Knowledge of modern production methodologies (e.g. LEAN);

• Experience with computers and knowledge of the Office package and Windows.
