Mid-level Frontend Developer

• Have at least 3-5 years of work experience.
• Have experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Are strong in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Have experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Vuex, or MobX.
• Have knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Testing Library.
• Are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and the deployment process.
• Have experience working in an agile scrum environment.
• Have experience working according to DevOps principles.
• Can transfer knowledge and experience to team members and junior developers.
• Are enthusiastic about user experience and accessibility (a11y).
• Have a positive mindset and solution-oriented attitude.
• Are able to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers and backend developers.
• Knowledge of a backend programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js is a plus.
• Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant equivalent education.
• Speak at least Dutch at a B-1/B-2 level or it is your native language.

• A permanent contract and a salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month (based on 40

hours per week). The exact scaling depends on your experience and the role;

€930 net, whichever best fits your way of traveling;

As a mid-level Frontend developer at JSRoots, an assignment may include the following:

• Rewriting an existing frontend application to a modern framework such as React or Vue.
• The implementation of a design system in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
• Optimizing performance and accessibility according to the latest web standards.
• Setting up a CI/CD pipeline for automated testing and deployment.
• Integration with backend APIs and designing efficient state management solutions.
• Developing or expanding automated tests and testing strategies.
• Discussing and implementing security best practices in the frontend codebase.
