Aviation Trainer

• You possess an MBO 4 level of working and thinking   
• You have demonstrable knowledge of (European) laws and regulations regarding Civil Aviation Security 
• You have at least 2 years of work experience within civil aviation security 
• You are didactically skilled and enjoy training and guiding people 
• You are communicatively strong and know how to connect well with different target groups 
• You work in a structured and quality-oriented manner 
• You have experience with MS Office and digital learning tools 
• Prior approval from the Koninklijke Marechaussee for the role of BBLV instructor is a plus

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written

A glimpse of your activities: 

As a Trainer Aviation, you are responsible for training and guiding security employees at and around the airport. You develop and provide training within the frameworks of the laws and regulations for Civil Aviation Security and ensure that employees perform their work safely, correctly, and according to procedures. 

You are close to the operation, answer questions from the work floor, and support employees in applying what they have learned. Additionally, you assess whether activities are being carried out in practice according to the correct standards and adjust where necessary. 

• Developing and providing training for airport security officers 
• Drafting and managing teaching materials, presentations, and instructions 
• Answering first-line questions regarding training and procedures 
• Assessing the execution of activities within Civil Aviation Security 
• Analyzing test and assessment results from the operation 
• Drafting improvement plans and making improvement proposals to Branch Managers 
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of service quality
