At Quatra, we are looking for a Transport Planner who can switch gears quickly, thinks ahead, and ensures that both our drivers and customers can rely on us.

Your challenge

As a Transport Planner, you are an important link in our daily operations. Our drivers collect used frying oil from customers and deliver fresh frying oil. The challenge is yours to organize this as smartly, efficiently, and customer-orientedly as possible every day. You combine fixed routes with new customer requests, take capacity, driving times, and costs into account, and adjust as soon as the situation calls for it. And believe us: no day goes exactly as planned! You are in constant contact with drivers, customers, and colleagues. Through our planning system Odoo, you maintain visibility on the execution and ensure that everyone knows where they stand.

• Plan and optimize efficient and profitable routes on a daily basis;

• Deploy drivers and vehicles as smartly as possible;

• Integrate customer requests, extra assignments, and urgent trips into the existing schedule;

• Monitor the execution of the routes and adjust immediately when necessary;

• Maintain active contact with customers regarding collection and delivery appointments;

• Functionally manage and support drivers and co-drivers;

• Identify bottlenecks and think along about how our planning and service can become even better.

So you are certainly not just busy filling a schedule. You think ahead, make choices, and take responsibility for the result.

You are someone who likes to maintain control, even when ten things are happening at once. You can switch gears quickly, set priorities, and you don't let yourself be driven crazy by unexpected situations. You understand that good planning is about more than just kilometers and times. Customer satisfaction, efficiency, costs, and feasibility for our drivers must be in balance with one another.
