Production Worker (Quality Control, Gluing and Packaging)

NX Filtration produces membrane filters used worldwide to filter the smallest contaminants from water. Think of contaminants such as nanoplastics, organic substances, dyes, pharmaceutical residues, bacteria, and viruses. This has resulted in new and simple processes for water treatment, wastewater reuse, and drinking water production. NX Filtration's motto is "clean and affordable water for everyone". In 2024, an entirely new, highly modern factory in Hengelo was commissioned.

As a production worker in our Module Production department, you will make the membrane filters that our customers use to create clean drinking water. Your activities are very diverse. After on-the-job training, you will be able to make your contribution in multiple areas within the production department. It is important that you are motivated and have a strong desire to learn and grow. You will work in a technical production environment where quality, safety, and precision are central.

The work is physically intensive: you will sand, glue, assemble, and inspect products with great care. You will work continuously with installations filled with water and small amounts of chemicals.

Your duties include

• Physically placing and gluing parts where force is applied.

• Leak testing our products and performing small repairs.

• Operating PLC-controlled test installations.

• Working with lifting equipment and lifting aids.

• Connecting and performance testing modules in installations.

• Performing visual inspections and quality measurements during leak tests.

• Processing test data and performing administrative tasks in computer systems.

• Cleaning, finishing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.

• You possess a VMBO+ or an MBO diploma at level 1 or 2, preferably in a technical field.

• You have a positive and eager-to-learn attitude.

• Reliability and accuracy in your work.

• Flexibility to take on new tasks and responsibilities.

• You work safely and are quality-conscious.

• You are flexible, social, and good at organizing your own work.

• You are available full-time in day shifts from 07:00 to 16:00.

• Shadowing/participating for half a day is a requirement. This way, you will get a good idea of where you will be working.
