You are responsible for the infrastructure and security architecture of the AWS landing zone within NS. You translate strategy, enterprise architecture, and NS architecture frameworks into concrete designs, building blocks, and improvements. Thanks to your deep AWS knowledge and ability to translate strategy into practice, you are invaluable in:

• Designing, further developing, and monitoring the infrastructure and security architecture of the AWS landing zone.
• Translating enterprise architecture, laws and regulations, and stakeholder needs into applicable frameworks, guardrails, and building blocks.
• Supporting DevOps teams in realizing solutions, so that they can work as independently and responsibly as possible within the architecture frameworks.
• Automating the cloud environment with infrastructure as code and contributing to a scalable landing zone with more than 150 accounts.
• Ensuring cloud security, IAM, SSO, federation, compliance, governance, observability, and cost management/FinOps.
• Drafting and communicating architecture documentation and a clear IT and architecture vision, both within and outside the team.
• Maintaining collaboration with AWS and other vendors and optimally utilizing their expertise and services for NS.

You will work in the AWS team of the Cloud Hosting Center of Excellence within the Central Platform Organization (CPO). The team is the technical conscience of AWS within NS and has a hands-on and 24x7 operational character. Architects and engineers work together on a secure cloud environment and support application teams in using AWS effectively.

CPO provides IT services that form the foundation for an agile IT organization. Within the Platform Hosting Services cluster, you will work on hybrid cloud solutions with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and private cloud. You will work partly from home and partly at the NS headquarters, within walking distance of Utrecht Central. We work professionally, proactively, and connectively, with room to challenge each other and share knowledge.

• A salary up to €7,515 gross per month (scale 61) (based on 36 hours - grading is based on work experience).
• A 36-hour work week.
