A completed degree in Finance, Economics, Business Economics, Econometrics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or similar.
2 to 7 years of relevant work experience within FP&A, Controlling, Analytics, or Finance.
Excel skills and experience with forecasting, financial modeling, and data analysis.

The role
At My Jewellery, we make hundreds of decisions daily regarding inventory, stores, e-commerce, assortment, marketing, and international growth. Data sits behind all those decisions. That is why we are looking for a Financial Analyst (FP&A) who gets energy from building models, analyzing complex issues, and translating data into concrete insights.
In this role, you are the analytical right hand of Business Control. You help the organization make better decisions by translating data into insights, forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases. You work closely with colleagues within Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, Buying, and E-commerce and get the opportunity to make an impact on almost all parts of the organization.
This position is intentionally designed with a strong focus on analysis, data modelling, and forecasting. We are looking for someone who gets energy from understanding data, building smart solutions, and discovering new possibilities in the fields of AI, automation, and technology.
What you'll do
You develop and maintain financial and operational models, dashboards, and management reports through which you make trends, opportunities, and risks visible. Additionally, you support the forecast and budget process, improve forecast models, and analyze variances between forecast, budget, and actuals. With scenario analyses and sensitivity calculations, you help the organization look ahead and make better-substantiated choices.
You also play an important role on the commercial side. You analyze store performance, profitability, e-commerce results, margins, markdowns, and sell-through figures. Additionally, you support business cases for new boutiques, assortment and category analyses, and contribute ideas regarding workforce planning and commercial optimizations.
Alongside your analytical activities, you contribute to strategic projects and investment proposals. You draft business cases, calculate them, and advise stakeholders based on your insights. At the same time, you continuously look for opportunities to set up reports and analyses more intelligently. You automate processes, actively deploy AI tools within Finance, and identify opportunities for further digitalization. In this way, you help build innovative solutions that make Finance more efficient and help the organization continue to grow.
