The role

3 reasons why you want to become FP&A Manager at OPP

  1. Get the unique opportunity to shape the Financial Strategy & Infrastructure as OPP grows, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

  2. Through close ties with the MT, your input and data-driven decisions will have a significant impact on the strategic direction and profitable growth of the company.

  3. You step into a concrete growth path towards a Head of Finance position, where you will gradually receive more responsibility for managing our finance team.

Your role as FP&A Manager

You are the owner of the financial reporting workstreams and work closely with the accounting and financial operations team. Your goal? Drive profitable decisions by being the trusted strategic partner to the leadership team. You translate complex financial data into concrete insights that optimize our international growth and operational efficiency.

Safeguard millions of secure international transactions.

OPP is not just any powerful payment solution - we are one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs. What started with five people in a small office has grown into a leading player in the European market. With more than 150 colleagues, offices in Delft, Berlin, and London, and Worldline as our partner, we have the perfect mix: the strength of a global market leader with the energy of a scale-up.

At OPP, we build the technology that powers the next generation of e-commerce. From Marktplaats to Royal Flora Holland: millions of users rely on our systems every day. We don't just process payments; we enable marketplaces and platforms to securely receive, manage, and payout funds, 24/7.

Your main tasks

  • Commercial business partnering: developing pricing guidelines and models to support commercial teams with deals and RFPs. Partner with commercial and product teams to measure and improve the ROI of key investments.

  • Financial control: in-depth analysis of commercial and operational KPIs (volumes, conversion, contribution) to support monthly forecasts and annual budgets. Maintaining the financial operational model.

  • Reporting: preparing management and board reports, including the CFO dashboard and reports for regulators (DNB, FCA).

  • Projects: supporting capital rounds, refinancings, and the implementation of automation tools (AI) within the team.

Requirements

There is plenty of room for both your personal and professional growth and development; in fact, we actively encourage this. As FP&A Manager, you get the unique opportunity to shape the financial direction of your team and the broader organization as we scale our operations internationally. As a team, we are making the transition to AI-native in all our processes.

Your sharp analyses and strategic insights are invaluable, not only for current decision-making but also in attracting and onboarding new talent to realize the ambitions of our growing enterprise. In this role, you will grow alongside the complexity of the organization, having a direct influence on the maturity of our financial processes.

Your track record

  • Education: at least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance/Accounting (or similar).

  • Experience: at least 2 years of experience in a 'high-energy' environment, such as M&A or management consultancy. Experience within Fintech is a plus.

  • Mindset: you think analytically and view the business from the perspective of the shareholder and management.

  • Skills: expert in financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets), experience with BI tools (such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and SQL to independently extract data is a plus. Fluent in Dutch and English.

  • Personality: you are curious, structured, resilient to change, and able to independently propose solutions for complex puzzles.
