Senior Structural Engineer

• at least 5 years of work experience as a structural engineer;

• a completed HBO or WO degree in structural engineering such as Building Technology, Built Environment, or Civil Engineering with a specialization focused on structural design;

• experience with European standards (structural Eurocodes) in the Netherlands;

• proficiency in the Dutch language at a minimum B1 level.

• You are responsible for the design, calculation, and checking of (building) structures.

• You work on a varied range of small, medium to large complex projects within high-rise, utility, and residential construction.

As a structural engineer at Movares, you work on a versatile range of (construction) projects in the Netherlands. We are a high-end digital consultancy and engineering firm with projects in:

• Commercial construction: including offices, schools, and healthcare institutions, such as the EPO building in Rijswijk.

• Residential construction: including residential towers such as the Zalmhaventoren in Rotterdam.

• Timber construction: including university buildings for the WUR.

• Transformation and redevelopment: including converting vacant office buildings into residential complexes.

We work on concrete, steel, and timber structures, in every phase. This offers the possibility to connect with those projects that give you energy. Within our organization, we have been working according to the BIM methodology for years.

Together with a project leader and modeler, you map out the client's wishes and make the translation from architectural ideas to a structural design. Your experience lies in the design and calculation of sustainable structures: you have all the skills for that.
