The role

Are you studying for a Master's in Accountancy, (Business) Economics, or Business Administration, or are you following a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance & Control? Then a side job as an audit working student at Moore MKW is for you!

At the moment we have no immediate openings, but if you apply, you will enter our talent pool. As soon as there is space in our audit practice, we will contact you. You will work at least two days per week, with the possibility to work more hours during holidays or quiet study weeks. You will discover how audit really works in practice and lay a beautiful foundation for your career. You will earn a nice extra income, learn in practice, and immediately build a valuable network.

What you'll do

As a working student in our audit practice, you will work together with experienced colleagues on audit assignments for clients in the SME and non-profit sectors. You will do work comparable to a junior audit assistant accountant, but in a side job format of 16 hours per week. Your activities at a glance:

  • You perform preparatory work for audit assignments.

  • You collect information about clients and their business processes.

  • You check figures and learn to recognize connections in the administration.

  • You help with organizing and supplementing client files, so that all necessary documents are clear and complete for the audit.

  • You accompany client visits and work out action points.

  • You actively think along about how processes or working methods within the audit practice can be more efficient.

  • You work for a varied client base: from metal companies and construction firms to libraries, foundations, and international trade organizations.

You will receive good guidance from colleagues who are happy to help you further. This way, you learn the profession in a safe and stimulating environment. And you are not alone: many of your colleagues have previously worked in a similar position themselves, so they know exactly what you need to find your feet quickly.

Who are you and what do you bring?

  • You are following a Master's degree in Accountancy or (Business) Economics.

  • You can work at least 16 hours per week (spread over two days is ideal).

  • You are eager to learn, involved, and curious about the real work.

  • You work accurately and feel responsible for what you do.

  • You love collaborating and have an eye for quality.

Are you doubting if your studies align well? Feel free to send us a message. We are happy to think along with you.

What do we offer you?

  • You will be paired with a buddy who will show you the ropes in the organization and serve as your point of contact during your onboarding process
