Director Exit Ready

As Director Exit Ready at Marktlink (in Den Bosch), you hold ultimate responsibility for the quality, positioning, and commercial performance of our Exit Ready trajectories. You guide entrepreneurs at a strategic level in preparing their business for sale and position Marktlink Exit Ready as the trusted advisor in the lead-up to a successful M&A transaction.

You build sustainable client relationships and know how to translate strategic advice into concrete follow-up assignments within M&A and/or other Marktlink labels. In doing so, you combine in-depth analyses with the development of optimizations and ensure active and structural follow-up.

Internally, you act as a sparring partner and sounding board for managers and consultants. You safeguard substantive quality, manage multiple trajectories simultaneously, and contribute actively to the further professionalization and continuous development of Exit Ready.

As Director Exit Ready, you are responsible for: 

• Ultimate responsibility for the quality, content, and positioning of all Exit Ready trajectories.
• Strategic advising of clients and translating analyses into concrete and actionable optimizations.
• Active guidance and structural follow-up of improvement initiatives at client sites.
• Acting as a sounding board for and managing managers and consultants within the Exit Ready team.
• Leading multiple trajectories simultaneously and monitoring progress, quality, and planning.
• Continuous development of Exit Ready reports, methodology, and propositions.
• Responsibility for commercial performance, client satisfaction, and long-term relationships.
• Identifying and realizing commercial opportunities and converting trajectories into M&A and/or other Marktlink assignments.
• Operating with political sensitivity and communicating effectively at all levels.
• Close collaboration with partners and other Marktlink labels.

You are an experienced professional who thinks strategically and acts pragmatically at the same time. Additionally, you bring:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience within consultancy, M&A, finance, or strategy.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and developing professionals.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex trajectories in parallel.
• Excellent analytical abilities and the skill to translate analyses into concrete optimizations.
• Commercial insight and experience in developing and expanding client relationships.
• Political sensitivity and strong communication skills at all levels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, natural leadership, and ownership.
• Academic level of work and thought (university or HBO + master's), preferably in business administration, finance, or strategic management.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
