Team Lead System Administrator (WMS)

JYSK is a fast-growing retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing and the distribution center is expected to be operational in early 2027.

But of course, that doesn't mean we are sitting idle until then! Currently, we are working hard from our temporary distribution center to realize a smooth transition to the new location.

• Ensuring optimal use of SAP WMS and ERP applications according to best practices and logistical guidelines.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and improving the IT systems that support the warehouse processes.
• Testing existing business processes during updates or replacement of logistics and customer service systems.
• Performing troubleshooting within SAP WMS, where continuity of operations is central.
• Identifying and implementing improvements within the combined IT solutions of the distribution center.

• Providing operational support to users of SAP and related systems.
• Training and guiding users and operators in the use of WMS and ERP systems.
• Drafting and maintaining work instructions, manuals, and process documentation.
• Analyzing functional and performance requirements of systems.
• Assessing, defining, and implementing change requests, fitting within existing operational processes.
• Collaborating with project managers, IT departments, and other stakeholders during implementations and improvement projects.

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, or Business Administration.
• Experience with SAP WMS and ERP systems within a logistical environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and logistical operations.
• Experience with system implementations, testing, and process optimization.
• Analytically strong and able to translate complex issues into practical solutions.
• Experience in directing or guiding a team is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to switch between operations, management, and IT.
