Process Lead Mechanization

Jumbo's ambition is to be the most customer-centric company. We want to surprise customers and exceed expectations, so that customers enjoy doing their shopping with us. With over 700 stores in the Netherlands and Belgium and our colleagues at the office, we work every day toward that ambition. Entrepreneurship together to win the customer is what we strive for at Jumbo.

As Process Lead Mechanization, you are the first point of contact for the production employees in Nieuwegein. You lead the team and work as a team toward the common goal: achieving the planned production. You will naturally manage this easily by keeping a close eye on the process flow. To monitor this, you are in direct contact with the Control Room, the technical heart of our mechanized distribution center. Because of this, you will quickly notice any process disruptions, which are then resolved or improved. Also, thanks to your clear instructions, the production employees know exactly what is expected of them!

• Solving problems that employees cannot or are not allowed to solve;
• Guiding and onboarding new employees;
• Identifying and initiating possible improvements. In doing so, you contribute to improvement projects;
• Complying with company and safety regulations.

Our mechanized central distribution center in Nieuwegein features the most advanced and newest technologies currently on the market. And as process lead mechanization, you get to work with them. You will enter a fast-paced world with an eye for tight planning. We do all of this in a chilled environment to ensure the quality of our products. Only in this way do we ensure that our Jumbo customers do not encounter empty shelves. Within Jumbo, we encourage all colleagues to grow; thus, it is possible to grow from this role into a shift lead, but there are also possibilities within the control room or the office in Veghel.

At Jumbo, we look for go-getters, people with good ideas and the courage to get to work with them. While keeping an eye on each other: our customers, colleagues, and the world around us, and wanting to do a little bit better every day. All our (future) colleagues bring a healthy dose of Jumbo DNA with them, so you do too! Additionally, you also possess:

• An MBO/HBO work and thinking level, regardless of your field of study;
• Relevant work experience, or a starter (HBO) on the labor market who wants to grow through this position;
• The flexibility to work in a four-shift system, naturally including an interesting allowance.

Together we are Jumbo: This is where you will work

Two shifts are active at the Central Distribution Center in Nieuwegein. You will work in a fixed shift with one other process lead for production, to whom you will report to the shift lead. Together, you ensure that everyone knows what is expected. Teamwork is of great importance at Jumbo, so extra attention is paid to it. Together, we strive for a friendly and warm team in which everyone feels at home.

A lot happens at Jumbo: no two days are the same, we switch gears quickly, and we look at how we can do things better every day for our customers and colleagues. With an informal working atmosphere, room for initiative, humor, and fun, you will work at Jumbo with a smile every day.

At Jumbo, you will find a work environment with warmth, fun, and attention for one another, where you get plenty of room to contribute to our ambition to become the most customer-centric company. And just as you are there for our customers, we are there for you. In addition, you can count on:
