Visual Town Merchandiser Amsterdam

JD Sports is looking for a Visual Town Merchandiser for a number of stores in Amsterdam!

In this role, you are responsible for a number of stores and act as the first point of contact for visual support. You guide and motivate your visual team to create industry-leading visual merchandising presentations. Additionally, you support the Retail teams, stimulate their development, and ensure that store profitability is maximized on every occasion.

• Responding to emerging trends by optimally presenting products in-store to maximize sales.
• Implementing the weekly Visual Merchandising guidelines (VM-pack) in the stores where applicable.
• Refreshing product presentations to bring bestsellers and new collections to the forefront.
• Updating window displays weekly to show customers the latest trends and best-selling products of the moment.
• Analyzing sales figures, such as weekly trade reports (branch reviews, top 10 per brand), to ensure the store layout is commercially optimal.
• Thinking ahead and proactively responding to seasonal changes, busy sales periods, and commercial opportunities.
• Creating attractive and eye-catching presentations that guide customers through the store in a natural way.
• Supporting the Area Visual Manager with information from the work area when necessary.
• Supporting stores with larger changes in store layout outside of opening hours.
• Supporting stores with VM E-Learning Modules and ensuring these are always up-to-date.
• Co-leading shopfit projects to support development and growth opportunities when necessary.
• Effectively executing new window concepts and displays during the launch of new campaigns.
• Communicating regularly with the Visual Support Manager and Area Manager regarding the performance and needs of your stores.
• Building strong working relationships with Store Managers, store teams, and regional teams.

• Experience with Visual Merchandising is a plus.
• Experience or skills in Retail Management are a plus.
• Excellent leadership and time management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong commercial insight.
• A driver's license is desirable, but not necessary.
• Willingness to travel to support new store openings.
• 38 hours per week availability
• Being proactive, communicative, and analytically skilled;
• Being outgoing, confident, and a team player;
