Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for an assistant store manager with an MBO education in retail. You have several years of demonstrable work experience in a similar industry. Experience in toys is a plus. You are not only strong with figures, but you can also deal excellently with people. You possess good communication skills, organizational ability, a flexible attitude, and you are result-oriented. You are aware of your role as an example, possess a hands-on mentality, are customer-oriented, and have a commercial mindset.

As Assistant Store Manager, you are co-responsible for the day-to-day operations of your store. You do this together with your Store Manager, who holds ultimate responsibility. This means you are involved in, among other things, applying the established store concept, ensuring good replenishment, achieving planned turnover, and controlling costs. You are a motivating coach for the employees.

• You are co-responsible for the store presentation in accordance with established guidelines
• You contribute to the correct (ordering of) goods so that the store's stock level continues to meet the standard
• You are co-responsible for the receipt and processing of freight
• You are co-responsible for the selection, training, guidance, assessment, and motivation of your sales team
• You are co-responsible for the cash, goods, personnel, and hours administration
• As Assistant Store Manager, you are part of the sales team and in this way, you also participate in the team with all occurring store activities
• Together with the Store Manager, you achieve the planned turnover and control costs;
• Together with the Store Manager, you present the store in accordance with established guidelines;
• You are co-responsible for ordering goods in the correct manner so that the store's stock level continues to meet the standard;
• You ensure the correct receipt and processing of freight;
• Together with the Store Manager, you ensure that the work schedules are made efficiently, with a focus on commerce;
• Together with the Store Manager, you manage the cash, goods, personnel, and hours administration in accordance with the agreements;
• You work within the sales team with all occurring store activities;
• You continuously provide a role model function;
• You are hands-on and strong in organization and think in possibilities.
