Manager Privacy & Responsible AI
What you'll do
As Manager Privacy & Responsible AI, you are part of the Cybersecurity team. You advise organizations and lead complex transformations at the intersection of privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and risk management. In doing so, you help organizations determine the impact of new technology in combination with European digital legislation (such as the GDPR, the EU AI Act, the Data Act, and the Data Governance Act) and translate this into practical solutions in the areas of governance, frameworks, and processes, whereby these solutions enable organizations to comply with regulations and create value.
You combine substantive expertise with leadership and operate in multidisciplinary teams (privacy, cybersecurity, data, risk, and legal). Your activities include, among others:
- Analyzing the impact of digital legislation, assessing the regulatory maturity of existing programs, and drafting roadmaps for improvement initiatives.
- Developing and implementing privacy and AI strategies that meet legal requirements and align with business goals.
- Designing and implementing an integrated operating model between privacy, cyber, AI, and risk.
- Setting up Responsible AI frameworks and governance structures that ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability.
- Where appropriate, fulfilling temporary roles such as Program Lead Privacy & AI, Data Protection Officer (DPO), or AI Governance Manager.
The challenge of this role lies in combining rapidly changing legislation with technological developments such as AI. You work on complex trajectories with tight deadlines and varying priorities, switching between strategic advice and hands-on implementation.
As a Manager, you provide direction to consultants and senior consultants and act as a trusted advisor to clients. You build strong relationships, recognize opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the team and the organization.
At the same time, you get the freedom to work in a way that fits your life.
At the same time, you get the freedom to work in a way that fits your life. Whether you choose to specialize, broaden your knowledge, or grow into a leadership role, you determine the course.
Together with ambitious colleagues within an open and trusting culture, you strive for the best result every day. Great opportunities, low-threshold collaboration. EY offers you all the tools and support you need to shape your career and make an impact within your field.
