Eurofins Netherlands is looking for an MLO intern level 3 or 4 starting from February 2027! Within the Soil Physical Analysis (BFA) department, you will work with different types of soil and investigate the properties of the soil. You will help determine, among other things, the moisture content, the amount of lime and clay, and whether the soil is suitable for, for example, construction projects such as roads.

In doing so, you will work directly with soil samples and learn how these are prepared and analyzed. Many of the analyses are based on weight, meaning you will spend a lot of time accurately weighing and measuring.

Within this department, it is important that you learn to plan well and maintain an overview, so that all samples are processed on time even during busier moments. You will become part of a team and gain valuable practical experience in the laboratory.

During your internship, you will be involved in, among other things:

• The (pre)processing of soil samples
• Performing physical analyses on the soil
• Determining, for example, moisture, lime, and clay content
• Accurately weighing and recording results
