Infrastructure Cost Estimator

You work on projects where technology, organization, and commerce converge. It is precisely within this dynamism that you, as a cost expert, make the difference. With your analyses, market insight, and sense for collaboration, you drive realistic cost solutions for complex projects.

As a cost expert, you are responsible for preparing and substantiating integral cost budgets for projects and tenders. You oversee the entire process: from design choices, execution methodology, and phasing to contractual conditions and market approach. You assess projects not only on price, but also on feasibility, executability, opportunities, and risks.

You are a substantive sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders, and you communicate with ease with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. From your seniority, you take on a steering role and actively contribute to optimizations within our processes. Additionally, you enjoy transferring your knowledge to beginning estimators.

Understanding complex issues and thinking strategically is also part of your job as a cost expert. You will be given the space to exert influence on project choices and the way we win tenders together, based on your expertise.

You will be working in the team of Dura Vermeer Infra Regional Projects South East. There is plenty of room for initiative in this team, and if you have ideas, we would love to hear them! You will also get the chance from us to develop in areas where your passion lies. Our regional office is located in Den Bosch, but the region covers all of East Brabant and Limburg. It is a plus if you live centrally in the region, as we will need you on various projects. 

In this role, you will primarily be working in Den Bosch.

• You have several years of experience as a cost expert, and you are ready for a next step where strategy, complexity, and knowledge transfer play an important role.  

• You have experience in providing advice regarding pricing during both acquisition and realization; 

• You have experience in guiding and coaching colleagues in their development;  

• You provide requested and unsolicited advice on, among other things, pricing, opportunities and risks, and contract interpretation to arrive at a realistic offer.

• The salary for this position is between €5,005.37 and €6,256.72 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.  

• On top of the salary, there is a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).  

• With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you a permanent contract immediately.  

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;  

• A laptop and a smartphone.  

• Excellent secondary employment conditions such as standard insurance for all employee risks, pension schemes, an extra supplement in case of disability, and a contribution towards union membership.
