Tier 1 of 2 SOC Analyst

The tier 1 or 2 SOC analyst we are looking for understands better than anyone how important communication is, from advising on resolving vulnerabilities to performing triages on alerts from our security monitoring. As an eXpert at DTX in the position of SOC analyst 1 or 2, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

• Experience with the Microsoft security Stack, such as XDR, Defender for, and KQL, or the desire to master these quickly

• Experience with Rapid7 products or the desire to master these quickly

• Knowledge and experience with Linux and Windows environments at Application and Operating system level

• Network infrastructures and protocols; you understand how data moves and where things can go wrong

• Relevant certification such as SC-200, SC-401, BTL1/2, Security+, CySa+, CeH

• You are customer-oriented, communicative, analytical, and a team player

• A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, is a requirement

Within the SOC, as a SOC Analyst 1 or 2, you will perform the following tasks:

• You have experience with Vulnerability management and you can prioritize vulnerabilities and translate them into concrete actions for the client

• You monitor, analyze, and assess security events and incidents

• You work closely with colleagues within the SOC

• You advise clients on vulnerabilities and improvement measures.
