In this role, you keep complex logistical processes in motion! You coordinate order and freight management for our key accounts and ensure that everything runs like clockwork. Do you get energy from variety and challenging issues surrounding import, export, and cross trades? Then our SCS department (Supply Chain Solutions) is the place for you. Together with 9 experienced forwarding colleagues, you devise smart logistical solutions, liaise with customers, and ensure excellent service; you contribute to it.

How do you do this? As a Senior Forwarder, you are the driving force behind complex international shipments outside of Europe. You direct the entire logistical trajectory. Import, export, and cross trades—you ensure that every shipment proceeds smoothly and efficiently. And, you look beyond the daily operation. You proactively identify opportunities to design our customers' supply chains more smartly, efficiently, and effectively, and you actively bring these improvement opportunities to the customer's attention. You take initiative, come up with concrete solutions, and turn ideas into action. You achieve this through:

• coordinating complex shipments; you are responsible for the planning, booking, and handling of both import and export shipments. You work intensively with internal teams and external partners and ensure that everything runs smoothly according to the agreements made with our clients (SOPs);
• managing, preparing, and monitoring documentation and compliance; you handle the forwarding and customs documentation, ensuring that all processes comply with applicable laws and regulations;
• acting as a proactive problem solver for our customers; you inform them about shortages, delays, or damages and devise suitable solutions that work for all parties;
• maintaining relationship management and developing the network; you build and strengthen contacts with customers, foreign branches, and partners, and oversee supplier performance. Additionally, you participate in MBRs, which contributes to the optimization of the total supply chain;
• informing stakeholders; you ensure that all relevant documents, information, and updates are shared in a timely manner with colleagues, agents, and branches, so that processes remain efficient and transparent.
